Configuring GL Dimensions

In the Business Unit > Setup tab, a new menu option called GL Dimensions is available.  This menu item holds four tabs: Class, Department, Location, and Project.

Staff can configure options for each of these items.  The data configured here becomes selectable via drop-down when adding or editing GL accounts, under Setup > GL Accounts.

This configuration also makes it possible to add the same GL number multiple times, but with different dimensions each time.  When configuring prices, GL accounts selectable during price setup will also display dimensions to ensure the selection of the desired GL account.
