Associating Products and Discounts
Once a discount is configured and ready to use, it can be associated with any products in the system. This association can be done in two ways: from the Discount Record and from the Product Record.
Associating Products via the Discount Record

In Products > Discounts, open the Discount Record.

Click the Applied Products tab. Choose how to search for products to apply using the following buttons:

Apply to Product: Using a quick look-up field, search for specific products.

Apply to Products by Category: Using a Product Category drop-down, choose the products with a certain category type that should use this discount. This option is useful for associating many products with one discount at once.

Apply to Products by Type: Using the Product Type drop-down, choose the products to associate with the discount by product type.
For each product, staff can specify an even narrower group to receive the discount using the Apply to Price drop-down. This drop-down displays a list of all prices created for a product--choosing a price will limit use of the discount to users that also qualify for that price.

Associating Discounts via the Product Record
Open the Product Record > Prices tab > Discounts menu option. Any discount(s) created or associated from here are automatically linked to the product being viewed.
